3-7-01 Hearing by the LA City Planning Hearing officer on The
VNY Master plan at the Airtel in Van Nuys [Map]
6:30 pm study session, An opportunity to ask question and
for most people the first opportunity to see the six volume plan and DEIR which
is a stack over inches high. The formal Hearing starts at 7:30 PM
where you will have only 3 minutes to comment on the million word study which
you probability have not seen until the meeting.
Note this is not the complete Master plan approved by the
Airport. LAWA released the text (no graphics or letters commenting on the plan)
in 1997 to us. LAWA has refused to make Volume 6 of the final plan available in electronic
form. They have refused to place any of this data on their website.LAWA just released it in
PDF form here is a link will convert to
HTML later.
